Hey lovelies,
So guess what? I have got my first guest blogger ever in the year (and a bit) that I've had this blog. Her name's Vicky and you can find her over at VVNightingale.
At the beginning of last year, I took the plunge and decided to start blogging. When I started I felt like I had no idea what the hell I was doing. I was excite, scared and apprehensive at the same time. It felt like I couldn't really let my guard down, I was so worried about what people would think of me! Eventually I ended up giving my blog up because I hadn't really found my voice yet.
Fast forward 3 months, and I suddenly started to realise what I wanted to blog about and that I shouldn't be afraid to have my voice and use it. From that point onwards, blogging became so much more exciting. It became my main creative outlet and a platform for me to express and share my passion for all things beauty, fashion and homeware!
The thing that I most enjoy about blogging is being a part of the community. You only have to start socialising to realise how great and supportive the blogging community can be.
My best advice to any new bloggers would be, first and foremost, just be yourself and blog about things you love. That's the most important thing (by a long way)!
Vicky
I've been really interested in guest posts lately, and I really like this one. I think being yourself on your blog is definitely an important thing. I mean, why else would you want a blog if not to share your own voice? Maybe shout some things out? It only gets hard when your friends and family find out about it... and read it...

The Life of Little Me
Blogs are the only places that some people can truly be themselves. It's a sad truth.
